I would suggest that the 2.7 is not the engine most people are looking for when buying a D4. I'm sure there is demand for a manual D4, just got to find the right buyer. It's a nice car, good luck with the sale.James

James - I suppose you could call it a D3 mkII ..... however this is reflected in the price? It's a lot of car for not much money (relatively speaking, I appreciate its a reasonable amount).

Yes, as above, removing all the kit will make it more appealing to a wider audience. Its a lot of work to remove all the accessories but you will probably be better off in the end.

I must confess that if I had not been committed to keeping my 11 year old D3 I would have been very tempted. I agree about the ancillaries reducing the number of people that may be interested but I would not be put off if the seller was member on here.

Its a well priced lovely vehicle but as JamesT stated if i was personally looking for a leg up to a D4 i would only contemplate the 3.0 engine and auto box, otherwise for me it would just be like upgrading a D3 for a newer model with improved interior and body styling for a fair old wedge of cash.
Hold your nerve its a still a sought after car and without finance on offer like a dealer your target market it limited to cash rich buyers giving them buying power and choice
The car markets are flat at present im struggling to sell a freelander 2 worth £8500 for £6500, but winter will be here soon to get the 4x4 market moving again....................................................................................................
If my wife ever sells my stuff for what she thinks I paid for them, you lot are gonna get some bargains!
