Rear suspension top bracket broken
HI, has anyone come across this before. I have been having some rear suspension issues lately which has been diagnosed as sensor issues. Tonight after loosening the wheel nuts and jacking the car to replace the sensors we noticed a lot of movement in the arm, closer inspection reveals that the chassis bracket for the top of the arm has come away from the chassis. This doesn’t appear to be a rust problem; it appears as if the weld has come away. Any thoughts?

Have you got a photo or two you could post?
Doesn't sound good, and not something I've seen mentioned before on here.

Sounds ominous. Have you had the car from new? Has it ever had the suspension arms replaced?

It's a bit unclear, is that looking down on top of the chassis?

Looks like a bit of stripping down and some welding. i've ordered new arms for both sides, and have new height sensors, just need a few hours to fix it.

Photos show that there is hardly any weld on bracket, bracket now re welded and a few welds on the opposite bracket just in case.Photo of new arm in place, did the other side as well.
