After so many empty statements from Jezza, I'm sceptical:

At first I thought that was an extremely niche publication, focusing solely on our lord and saviour JC.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Jezza finally admits that there's antisemitism problem within the Labour Party. Is this different to the one that Shami Chakrabarti investigated and wrote a report on? You know, the one that she received a CBE for 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Let's hope that this is the start of some proper action. I have to say that I am yet to come across it in my circles ...I wouldn't stand for it one bit.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

What's is the difference between anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism?
Is there any difference today, or are both just now being used as anti jewish?
Now i am not anti Jewish at all.
I think it was a disgrace what happened to them.
So when i do not agree with the building and encroaching on the west bank, and taking further land, does that then make me anti jewish.
I thought that was what Anti-Zionism was.
Please forgive me if am wrong, and the above statement is not meant to offend anyone at all.
I just cannot get my head around some of it.
Regards
Ray

Well it's certainly debatable, but for a start this article is worth reading:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-36160928
Unfortunately, whilst there are indeed some genuine concerns about the current politics of Israel, a lot of antisemitism hides behind this veneer.
BTW, I'm not Jewish, nor where my parents or grand parents, but my mothers grandmother was and Judaism follows matrilineal descent. So I'm technically an eight Jewish. Enough to have seen me classified as a Jew by the Nazi regime, who murdered many of my distant relatives. Which perhaps is a reason why I abhor antisemitism. Although actually I'm equally abhorrent of all racism.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Hi Lt
Thank you for for the reply.
And i am sorry to hear your family was caught up within that dark time.
It is for sure a lot more complicated than, Ireland and Northern Ireland thats for sure.
I have looked into it a few times but not to any real depth.
.
Last night i found this.
https://www.vox.com/cards/israel-palestine/intro
Intresting to find that
(Arabs and Palestinians generally oppose Zionism, as the explicitly Jewish character of the Israeli state means that Jews have privileges that others don't. For instance, any Jew anywhere in the world can become an Israeli citizen, a right not extended to any other class of person. Arabs, then, often see Zionism as a species of colonialism and racism aimed at appropriating Palestinian land and systematically disenfranchising the Palestinians that remain. Arab states actually pushed through a UN General Assembly resolution labeling Zionism "a form of racism and racial discrimination" in 1975, though it was repealed 16 years later.)
I think we will still be talking about this for many many years, unless they all come to some middle ground to live together in peace.
I as a realist, know that is not going to happen soon.
Maybe both are guilty of racism and discrimination, along with the rest of us at some point.
Or maybe racism is more ignored today, because of the actions that Israel take.
And again by the other side.
Hard to find middle gound, without upsetting each other by the looks of it.
Single state or twin state, wow what a mess to sort out.
Regards
Ray

The last bit made me smile.
Few would deny there are anti-Semites who call themselves anti-Zionists, or that it's possible to criticise Israel without being a racist or a bigot. But agreement on how exactly the two relate appears elusive.
Dammed either way then.
Regards
Ray
