D3 V8 Brake upgrade kit

Got to say really great service from Advanced Factors - ordered the brake upgrade yesterday lunchtime, got a message back confirming the order within minutes & they arrived with me today. Top service many thanks Thumbs Up

Not had time to fit them yet - but there's a fair bit of weight in the box (our poor receptionist at work wondered what on earth was in there - not the usual boring IT stuff I order!!).

It's a worthwhile upgrade...
 BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Well the new brakes have been on for a week now & wow, what a difference - the D3 feels so much assured under braking, goodness only knows why LR didn't fit these as standard on the diesel models.

.....so new on the shopping list are a V8 set for the back (might have to wait until after the holiday in the tintent though!)

Well back from taking the tintent to France & the brake upgrade makes it feel so much better than the standard ones.

Thanks to Steve & team for sorting them out for me & everyone on here who convinced me to do the upgrade Thumbs Up

Gents and Gals if any I have these V8 brake sets on my to do list, just waiting on old set to clock up a few more km.

I have noticed on the AF site there are the Delphi or Borg & beck versions.

Delphi more expensive.

Which is the best bit of kit?

A few metion upgrading to Bremtec calipers. What is the advantages as opposed to just reusing the originals?

cheers
Peter
