Not sure you'll get away with that. Deffo a new airbag module required.

Nah, you don't need a new airbag module, you can change the airbag emblem, I've done it myself.
Oddly enough, Beanie was selling them, send him a PM and see if he still has some. Mods:

FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.

My best low cost mod was linking out the accessory socket relay with a bit of wire and two spade connectors. I can now charge my phone etc when the car is locked. And the cost of this mod was negligible.D3 Tonga HSE 2005
Sport body kit
Beanie grille
LED interior lights
LED side lights
De-tango
IID Bluetooth
Icarsoft i930
Clock on dash
Three flash indicators

It's not really a vehicle mod, but the best low cost addition to my D3 has to be roll of kitchen towel that i keep in the third row drink/bottle holder - with three kids, slightly clumsy wife (by her own admission) and a daft dog it's so useful & one of the kids can always grab it quick!

As an ex supplier of badges, the airbag badge is different to the standard badge. It's designed with pegs on the back to go through and fold over to stop the badge flying off on airbag deployment.
Putting a self adhesive larger badge on can cause najor damage if airbag activated and badge flies off.Owner of a 2010 Discovery 4 XS.

Either way, mine was put back to standard and then traded for another, so that should fix it
The standard badge is still nasty though! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
