May I ask who you use for shipping? Maybe I can push back on their carrier and get them to switch.1998 Discovery LSE - Gold, 249,000+ miles, completely stock

just used a longer m6 bolt with a 30mm spacer , instead of fixing the bolt from below I did it from the top screwed through the captive and for extra security add a nut to the bottomD3 in Buckingham blue now SWMBO's Mine D4 commercial

How stable is it with the spacers? An extra 30mm would be most handy.

Looks just the job that
I'm quite surprised how much more space the 30mm modification gives...

Lowered my Shelf by around 30mm using bolts as in the photos below and the additional clearance makes it a lot easier to get items on to the shelf

Were I to fit one of these, do you think there would still be enough headroom for passengers in the 3rd row of seats should there be the need? (I'm thinking myself & sprog MK 1, both lucky to reach 5ft 1/2 inch.....I'd delegate driving to the husband)
It's been so long since I used the third row, I can't remember, or imagine, what it would be like, but with foreign visitors coming over this summer, we might need the extra seats at short notice.
