We have a 95 wagon - now at 15 years/242k miles old - to go with our D3. Maybe if I park them close together I won't need to buy a D5...

The C pillar, the clamshell bonnet, the wrap around headlamps and indicators (directly under the bonnet), the upright windscreen and all the window shapes. I really liked the look of the 9-5 estate, a real stunner; the long low stance really makes all the difference to this design I could definitely have had a 9-5 at the time of it hadn't been for XM estates (hydraulic suspension and absolute capacity were essential at the time).
you do know the 9-5 was a Vauxhall Vectra underneath don't you?

I think you might be thinking of the Saab 9-3 there...
Correction - you're right I didn't realise that it affected the 9-5 as well. I can begin to understand how they lost their loyal base now.2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

My father-in-law still mourns the passing of Saab (as do I) and misses the 9-3 turbo he had.
His misery has been made worse as he replaced it with an Evoke that he hates so much even I'm allowed to drive it, whereas as I would never have been allowed to drive the Saab and would have been to worried.Andy

Looks like nothing else now. Apart from, maybe, a D5
Absolute icon. We had four and one convertible over the years. All bar one were T16S's. Really regret selling the convertible now, it would now be worth 3 times what I sold it for. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

As much as it pains me to say, at this moment in time, I would far sooner be a member of the Saab appreciation society than the god awful Discovery 5 one.Andy
