When I was in the Royal Marines it was fair to say that if the blokes where wingeing then they were happy. If they weren't whingeing, stand by for trouble.
Based on that theory, most blokes on here who have commented appear to be happy with the D5.

The height and how well it's put together are what I'm most worried about. After being less than impressed with the DS, which is a good couple of inches shorter than the FL2 and feels a bit low rent I'm anxious it'll be a let down. I like the look of the front though.

I have seen a few in and around my area, in fact I saw a near undisguised one today, I have to admit that I like it much more than I thought I would, but I won't buy one for one simple reason, the rear number plate offset is, in my opinion.....horrible.
You have to love car to spend that much money on it, and everyday I would come out, look at the back, and sigh, no matter how great a car it was.
I think my next car will be a 2 or 3 year old FFRRDavid

Re the FFRR, raises the question: how can they get the L405 FFRR so right and the D5 so wrong?
Well this is a free whinge zone thread.

There should be "I absolutely detest the look of it until it's been out a few years and grown on me like the d3 did" option. Jarrod

Reserving judgement! I was down the dealer yesterday, and they are very confident it's going sell very well.
I also had a XE Jag with the 2.0 Ingenium engine loaned to me yesterday, and it's a very smooth engine, much better than I thought it would be!

I just made a 'whinge' post on the "all Disco5 comments" thread, then I come accross this specific whinge thread!
If only I'd known
Btw, this isn't a whinge, just an observation ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
To get to get that off my chest...
Also it's been called whinging....
Moaning is a sub function of ReMOANer......an entirely different threadBREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Well, looking at the pictures it looks like the tyres are flatter at the bottom than at the top, I think this is a big mistake by LR.
