That's a very informative article with several new bits of information.
Gerry McGovern's comments about roof racks show him to have no understanding of what Land Rover represents and he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near their design! But, unfortunately, that's now a battle lost. He'd be in his element designing the next generation of Suzuki Vitara or MX5 though... 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Fair article. As quoted..."None of the photos released thus far shows the Discovery with a roof rack. There’s a reason for that. Although a rack will be available, the chief designer would prefer you didn’t order it: “I hate roof racks,” says McGovern. “But if people want them they can go ahead and buy one and ruin the design.”"
Don't hold out hope for the Defender...
