Snap - thanks JMC
Hopefully money deposited in your swiss account.
Spent a few hours today 'administering' the e-mails and PMs that have come in thus far. Many thanks to all who have been quick off the mark. I will 'confirm' (at the top of the page) those whose payments I have received so you will know that it's all OK once you have a tick against your name. If you have paid by BACS (as most have) it will probably take three or four days for your tick to appear
Typing this from a cold office at the moment so you can all be sure that I'm definitely NOT in the Cayman Islands.....
Edit: Seems I can't place the tick for confirming your payment after all. Seem to remember doing this before...... Mod help?? I'm ticking the confirmed box and getting this message:
The maximum of sign-ups for this option is reached. No more sign-ups will be accepted, please see if you can sign-up to another option (e.g. reserve).
If I increase the number of sign-ups then it just adds my own name to the list when I 'confirm' against someone elses The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Group Buys
John, your'e either a glutton for punishment or you enjoy organising Group Buys for us! Either way, we're all very appreciative.
When this one's done and dusted you'll probably be at a loose end. If there was a fair amount of interest in a spare wheel carrier, wondering if you could organise it for us!?

This is a big one PM's and e-mails from everybody asking questions, advising payments asking about deliveries etc
To avoid me spending all day dealing with individuals, I will try to answer all the questions here.
1. I have asked you all to provide details of (non-D3) e-mail addresses and telephone numbers. This is so that I can contact you outside of the site (like if the site goes down) if needed and also to provide CityLink with a contact number for the delivery.
2. Delivery will be CityLink courier and I will try to alert all of you as to when it is coming. I normally e-mail the citylink tracking reference page to you so you know a day in advance and can follow the progress on-line.
3. If you need a specific delivery day, let me know what you want and I can sort it at this end.
The way it works is that Mantec tell me they are all ready and I send them out in batches of 6-8 per day. This is because the Citylink van possibly couldn't carry all plates away in one day. If I start on the Tuesday then they can all be despatched by Friday. Anyone who needs a specific delivery day can be simply catered for. I usually send them out in the order of payments received.
Here is a list of payments received as of today (Noon - Sunday18th):
AndrewW WillMyth Disconutter philhunt
Furthermore, here are the incoming payments which have been advised - ie. I have a PM saying that transfer has been done / cheque in the post etc.
If you think your name should be above but isn't, let me know!
There are still a number of people who haven't even picked up their PM payment request (still in my outbox) so you guys above are well off the mark The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

All payment requests have now been sent by PM. If you have not received a payment request then you are either a 'reserve' or I have bolloxed-up! The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Expected a call from Mantec yesterday but it never came.......
Just in case any of you were watching outside for a delivery today - it would appear that they aren't quite ready yet... Furthermore, I'm still not sitting on a sun drenched island so your money is safe too...

Delivery
Hi John
According to an earlier posting here, I should be one of the first to get a delivery and had planned to take next Monday (26th) off work to fit the plate with a mate. Any idea how delayed Mantec are? The plate's coming to my work address so I would have to have it by this Friday (23rd) for fitting Monday. If there's no chance of it being delivered Friday I'll want to cancel the day off I booked.

Yep, I know it's supposed to be just 4 bolts so shouldn't take too long but also want to wire up some spots, fit front and rear light guards then go out for an hour or so and get some mud on the plate!
Just about to phone Mantec........ I'll be back......... 8)
My 'contact' is in a meeting, but I spoke to the works manager and he reckons they are ready to rock and roll. Looks like I'm going to have a busy day deciding who's to send out first........
Edit: First 8 now organised for delivery tomorrow and you should find an e-mail (to your supplied e-mail address) with a CityLink tracking page. These are AndrewW, WillMyth, Disconutter, Blakey, gringle, Hijack, philhunt & discoagogo.
The only one I don't expect will receive the plate next day is WillMyth as his is an 'international' delivery. Also, I know how bad the Eire network is so he might just get it before Christmas. Ah well,..... have another Guinness!!! The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom
