No TPMS on the Spare Wheel on 2015 Disco 4
Hi I am new to Land Rover and have just purchased a 2015 Discovery HSE Lux. Just had a need to put on the full size spare and there is no TPMS valve on the spare! I have queried with Garage but no answer yet. Does anybody else know if this is correct; from the searching I have done it appears it should have one? So far I love the DISCO though!

There should be a TPMS valve on the spare.

Thanks this is what I thought, but it has obviously confused the garage as they are slow to respond. I wonder how many are out there like mine as you would never know until the spare is required.

TH TPMS should also be monitoring the pressure of the spare. Not sure what happens if there's no TPMS valve, though ...
PS consider investing in a spare wheel protector - readily available from a source on here. Full size spares are easily nicked
Confused then, Landmark comes with full size spare as standard, TPMS is only monitoring the four wheels on the road, on this one anyway

Yeah, I'm sure my MY16 Landmark TPMS just shows the 4 wheels on the hubs.
My earlier post was the information I was given in 2014, it may have changed since then. Perhaps the spare isn't monitored at all now.
Maybe I should RTFM 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Sounds as if the spare isn't monitored anymore then. Which makes sense as it's simpler not to.
I not 100% certain, but I think my MY15 D4 didn't monitor the spare either.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

MY16 does monitor spare wheel - one at work recently swapped over and now comes up with" check spare tyre pressure".

FULL SIZE SPARE WHEEL AND TYRE
CHANGE
The system will automatically recognise any changes in wheel positions. The vehicle must be stationary for 15 minutes during the wheel and tyre change, to make sure that the system can detect the change. After driving above 25 km/h (16 mph), any deflation warning should clear within approximately 5 minutes.D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT

My 65 plate MY16 D4 HSE Lux has TPMS. The 4 road wheels are monitored and show individual pressures but the spare is not monitored in the same way but it is indeed monitored.
If you lower the pressure in the spare then start the vehicle you get a warning on first start up that features in the dash warnings that says "CHECK SPARE WHEEL PRESSURE' (or similar).
You can then cancel the warning and the orange lights go out on the dashboard as if nothing were wrong.
Next time you startup it will do the same thing until you cancel the warning about the spare pressure.
This is not the case if one of the road wheels loses pressure and the orange light with the horseshoe and warning strike stay illuminated until you sort the problem out.
