Buying and Warning lights
Hi
Joined up last week as I'm on the hunt for a new to me Disco 3.
Had a good look round the forum and picked up loads of tips.
Although not a stranger to Land Rovers - I'm on my 6th having rescued
a 50th Anniversary Discovery an 04 TD5 and a P38 Range Rover.
I'm well aware of all the warning lights on the dash of the TD5 and what should be there on start up, however on the Discovery 3, I'm not at all familiar with the lay out.
Can someone post up a few photos of their dash panel, showing these, would hate to buy something and then find that half the lights have been blanked off.
Along the lines of
TD5 with engine running

TD5 with ignition in position 2

Many thanks

The early diesels (2005,2006? ish) don't have an engine ecu light like yours.

The D3 doesn't suffer from blanked lights like the TD5 does.
If there is an error in a D3, it also usually shows an error message in the info panel and you'd be hard pressed to blank that off!
