Just got my D3 back from its 30000 mile service
Got my car back from the dealer today, it went in for a 30000 mile service yesterday but they had to keep it overnight as they had to order a new wheel nut (not sure which one or if it was the locking one) and charge the battery again.
All the faults that I had :-
Park brake failure with amber warning light
Engine system Fault
No Nav available
Bluetooth failed to disconnect once, tried switching phone off and on - still connected, had to start car again and then switch off the phone to disconnect.
were down to the battery charge being low again, 4th time the battery has had to be charged and it has been replaced once, they said that if I got any more messages that they would have to have the car in and check the electrics out again as this should not keep happening.
LR would not authorise a replacement sunroof yet as even though the small cracks in the arms had got worse since the last time they saw it, they were not yet a cause for concern.
Also had to have new front brake pads (the rears were replaced a few months agao) - only done 11500 miles but they only charged me £112 for this
and didnt have to pay for the service as I paid for a 3 year servicing deal last year (I know that I have paid for the service just makes it seem better when you take your car in for a service and dont have to pay)1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold
