Anybody heard of BlueChip extended 3year warranty

Hi all,

Trader offered BlueChip 3 year extended warranty for fixed price of £670.

Have you heard anything about this warranty and what are your thoughts generally if warranties worth it?

I've created album with T&C below,

Please let me know if this sounds a good deal.

Thanks

Rob

I've not heard of them. For 3 year's cover, that's ludicrously cheap.

It's a limited liability company, so I've checked their details online; they are only 1 year old (I struggle to get finance on any company with < 3 year's trading results) (28/11/16 - UPDATE - It's 2 years old today!) and their accounts show a net worth of £1,200.00, with £42,100 in cash. There are two Directors who have no directorships elsewhere.

You may wish to draw your own conclusions from that.

Mind you, even Warranty Direct's figures are interesting over the last 4 years, although they do at least have £1.4 million in cash:

Thanks, but they still would need to stick with T&C and pay out despite being small Lyd?

As long as they are still in business and have sufficient funds to pay out, then yes. Looking at the accounts, are you feeling confident enough to invest your funds?
