No tow electrics in Landmark
Just a quick question...
I bought a D4 Landmark (kinda off the cuff) ...
Anyway, after explaining to the dealer why I wanted stating tow electrics etc he came back with a Landmark 2016.
He emailed to say it has everything I wanted...
I bought it and looked today and it had not tow electrics. I know I could just pay a bit more to get them installed but considering I paid a significant amount for it and was charged £1k for rubber mats, side tunes, mud flaps and boot cover. I feel like they are just taking cash from me now as I keep saying "yes"...
Are they able to add things post purchase as "good will?"
I still have 14days to s me it back if I wanted to get very sh y but don't want to.
Any advice?

Seems strange. I have never bought a Discovery without having a new set of rubber mats thrown in. Also the load area cover is standard unless you are referring to the rubber bootmat which is under £100 from Dan at Duckworths. As for the tow electrics they are not a difficult diy job but you appear to have been mis-sold.
I'm sure the folks who know better than me will have a view too.

If you had tow electrics on your build specification then it should be there and they should fix it.
If you didn't read the build specification it is a little more tricky as no D4 comes with tow prep as standard.

I ready the spec and I guess it didn't state tow electrics... I think I may have assumed the electrics as I stated it in my vehicle requirements and then the sales guys said he had one that met my requirments...
Maybe it's my fault for not checking... how much are tow electrics?
The boot mat has a lip on it and was £170 ...
Also had the window trim come un-clipped on the way home...
So they have ordered new clips! So have to pop back to get it fixed ... maybe they will come up with a good price for the electrics!2016 D4 Landmark

About £100 for tow electrics, depends on which electric connector you go for.
Apparently easy to fit and supposedly plug and play.
With regard to the window trim has it had a replacement windscreen?

Windscreen: maybe as it had 9k on the clock. Think it was ex-demo.
LR will fit for £100 or I need to buy and fit for £100? Does it need iid enabling?2016 D4 Landmark

did you get a tow hook as well.....if you did don't leave it on...it will get nicked...and get a spare wheel protector from uncle ray...cus that will get nicked as well

You can disable the reversing sensors for towing in the Special Features in the rear camera set up screen.

I ordered my Graphite with a tow bar but nothing else (towing wise), and it came with 12 pin electrics. Is this different to a fuller tow prep?MY16 D4 Graphite in Loire Blue
