A couple of questions about changing over the switches.
1. Do I need to disconnect both batteries before pulling the airbag and does anything other than the windows need to be reset when I reconnect?
2. Can the switchpack be replaced without removing the wheel or do I have to take it off?

Hi, yes, it appears your list is much smaller. You will need to go into settings open up the full list. You may need to reach out to Pat at Gap to give you access to the full list.
Regarding your question about changing your switch, I did not disconnect both batteries. Just the main one. After changing the switch, only thing i reset was window. Also, no need to take off the wheel. Just turn the wheel 180 degree (so the airbag can nicely hang/rest, giving you access switch). Of course i had to move the wheel back and forth to access the screws of the switch (not much room at the back to unscrew).

Finally ACC in D4 pre 14MY
Installation is easy, but it's impossible to make work ACC on pre 14MY without CAN filter. This thing like MITM between radar and car – tells to radar that it installed into to rrs.
Unfortunately, I can't tell you more details about how it work (because it took a lot of time for my friends to find it) but as you can see now ACC is possible on D4 on pre 14MY.
Steering wheel ACC buttons from RSS 12MY
LR060076 bracket (with some cut)
Can filter between ACC radar and car CAN
And finally ACC in LR4 5.0 MY13 (sorry for yellow triangle sign – water fluid is empty)

As I said, it's just a CAN filter between radar and car do all magic.
After ignition radar and car send config or something like that and if car not a RR – radar can't turn on and you got DTC. CAN filter just change some data for radar and now your Discovery is RR LR4 V8 5.0 HSE Lux

ACC successfully added to LR4 (US)
Hi all, just wanted to provide a final update on my mod efforts.
Started the process 2 months ago, bought and added the hardware to my 15MY LR4. Went through the process exactly as described in this forum, but ran into various issues/faults (described in my previous posts). Had to shelf the project for a couple of months as I got busy with work.
Went back to Pat at Gap and provided more info. Pat determined that a CCM update is required (in the past we thought it was not required). Pat provided the updated firmware. I flashed the new firmware, edited CCFs and ran the calibration. This time, to my relief, the elusive amber ACC follow mode symbol was lit up on my dash. The symbol flashed for the duration of calibration - once completed, i now have fully functioning ACC.
Only change i made to the CCF from what's shared previously:
2./ Adaptive speed control ecu = North America.... (instead of UK/Rest of the world).
Maybe UK would work as well, but I chose my own region to try out first and it worked.
Hope this helps anyone adding this mod and would like confirmation for North American model.
Hey guys, just checking to see if anyone else got this fault: C1A67-97.
Its a CCM cruise control fault (no CEL), that says "Forward looking sensor - Component Failure - component or system operation obstructed or blocked (28)".
I've had my ACC installed now for a month and it's working fine (didn't put it to a lot of use, but did use it a couple of times). The system seems to be working fine, but just noticed this fault was triggered at some point. My radar unit is installed just like the pics above (couple posts ago). There's nothing else in front, no aftermarket add-on of any sort. Wondering what could cause this.
Anybody else seen this fault?

I had it in msg centre while driving in hevy rain and as always splashing big puddles for fun
and my wife had it recently due to accumulation of snow on the bumper which slid down and blocked the radar briefly

I got this message in a heavy snowstorm, but I am not sure if it was stored as a DTC error. Need to check

Thanks for the responses. That makes more sense now. We've had heavy snow and thunderstorms here, and I did some driving in it. Could have been triggered then.

I checked recently and it does leave the code when scanned with IIDTool
been a while since i was last in this post, I picked up a radar unit ages ago but never went any further
our car has pretty much everything BUT a heated steering wheel and it has been annoying me during the winter, so it seemed to make sense to replace it with one that did while i was replacing the switch packs for this
first heated wheel i bought on ebay arrived but had been packaged so badly it was trashed when arrived
second one i bought they never shipped and eventually ebay refunded
Obviously it looks like a Disco 4 wheel and switches, and even has the adaptive cruise switch pack already, what do we think the chances are of this working with my 2015MY Disco 4?
Thanks all
