I've tried them and the shift is nice and crisp, especially in sport mode but I've driven autos for the last 20 years and prefer to take the lazy mans option and stick it in D. You can forget your driving a 3 tonne house brick with all these added toys and the perky engine, that is until you hit a nice sweeping bend at 70mph and remember your not driving the XKR!!
