Compressor failure under warranty

Help please, has anyone else had a suspension compressor replaced under a non dealer warranty claim, as I feared motor easy have stated that this is not included under the policy just wondered if anybody else has had experience of trying to negotiate with warranty companies or I'm I stuck?
Perfect timing as usual, had to replace the wife's car last week!!!!
