Sold the D4...
Well after looking around at all sorts to replace the D4 I couldn't find anything that ticked all the boxes and something that I felt I actually wanted I went to see the D5 and although it is very nice in the front I just didn't like the way it looked from outside So the only choice left was to grab one of the last D4's a Landmark in Santanori Black, it was registered at the back end of last year but only had 5 miles on the clock, it has all the Landmark toys and the dealer had added a few extras like privacy glass and tow bar and electrics etc. I will probably runs this for a couple of years and then hope the D5 has grown on me or hope the new Defender is good.
Couple of phone photos from a couple of lanes I did on the way home 8)

Great looking, and in my humble opinion, so much better than the D5 which looks like a number of other SUV's. But then I'm an old stick in the mud and I like big and square. The D2,3 and 4 are completely unique and practical in design.2007 Disco3 2.7 tdv6 SE

Thanks for the comments guys I love it, will have to get some better photos if we actually get any half decent light. I was sad to see the Aintree green one go as I love that colour but the Landmarks are now few and far between so I had a choice of black or white, my daughter said you can either look like a drug dealer or a footballers wife (my apologies to anybody who has a white D4 ) So because of all the opiates I take I decided on the drug dealer look The only things I miss are the fridge, which I will probably get from Dan@Duckworths and fit and the automatic high beam which can probably be fitted also I would imagine. The dealer was Lloyds at Carlisle, who have been great to deal with and they have a few Landmarks left they also threw in the 5 year service plan which was good Cheers Ian
