Are you sure when you changed the gearbox pivot that you did not move the gearbox lever and its set in the wrong place.?
Have you checked the main plug under the f/n/s wheel arch to make sure there is no broken/corroded wires in there and also the rear one behind the rear n/s wheel.
If the red alarm is still flashing then the imobilizer is not being turned off..
Have you changed anything in the BCU and Ipack ?.

I checked the cable - slackened it off to check I had set it right - but will do it again.
I checked the 3 plugs in the front and 2 in the rear wheel arches - could not see any breaks.
Not changed anything in BCU / Ipack
Immobiliser still seems possible - not sure what i can do with an MSV2 as there does not seem to be any access apart from key learning?

Any reason why these codes have been overlooked?
Welcome any recommendations ?!
These codes would appear to suggest a PCM internal issue...My D3 Build Thread

That's sort of where I had got to - but as to what to do - bit stumped now?!
Immobiliser issues seem to be related - so have posted on the BBS forum to see if there is any advice there.

Re: Help needed please - engine cranks and won't run
Hi
Did you ever get to the bottom of the PO62D code. I have the same code come up on my car.
Cheers

Nice writeup!
Same problem here. Changed the windshield in the autuumn and I fear there is a leak, so perhaps the ECU has had it...
Did you get a new or used ECU? And what was the install procedure - did it pop right in or do you have to program or adapt in some way?

This was a while ago!
New ECU and coding it was beyond my MSV2 - so had an independent do it. Not a cheap experience.
