Just to update this thread, my D3 is back in the land of the living.
found 5 bad joints on the wiring harness and one broken wire. After that the compressor would start but then stop, sometimes running for 60 seconds and other times 5 seconds.
Replaced the Yaw Sensor and all is good again.

Dale good that you got it resolved
Just to help troubleshooting for anyone else who has a similar issue, where did you find the wiring faults located ?

The wiring issues were on the passenger side, down by the cill, just under the plastic covers. Dale

Wow speedy reply ! top marks
So is that inside the plastic compressor acoustic/weather housing under the car or do you mean inside the wiring conduit in the car under the kick plate cover, as in the central locking splice issue location ?
All the best

No, open the passenger doors on the nearside and under the plastic foot plate above the cill, front and rear. Dale

Excellent So in the same area as the central locking splice fix, thanks Dale I'm sure someone will appreciate that. Was the failed wiring obvious to the eye or did you do some continuity testing to reveal and internal failure of the core ?

Took ages to test all the wires, tested resistance from one end to the other, 1 was broken but if moved would make the connection again. Several of the other joints had issues so the best thing to do was solder all the joints and waterproof them, pig of a job. Dale

I have the same problem, my air compressor is not getting power, I've tried swapping over the fuses and relays, still no power. Ive tried disconnecting the battery, noting.
I start the car up this morning and the compressor made the usual loud noise, raised a bit and the stopped
what do I do?

Do you have any way of reading the fault codes WolfLandrover? That might enable someone on here to help diagnose the issue for you.

I do not. I should probably get on.
I did just have it in to have the handbrake fix and new rear brake pads and disc brake. I also jacked it up (to grind a wheel arches screw off) just before I realised it wasn't working. I did raise or lower the car before this, would that have done anything.
