United Kingdom 2013 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 Commercial Auto Indus SilverDiscovery 4

Proceed with caution.
Last year I had similar with a youth on drugs wandering around in front of me.
Even sounding the horn, did not work.
He had a brush with the bumper at 2 miles per hour (according to dash cam).
I got a fine and points!

Hindsight is great, but just stop, breath, ignore and proceed when clear. Rolling Eyes

Many years, errr decades ago leaving a caving event when drink driving law was no where near as strict a group of 'happy' cavers walking down the narrow road so no problem following them at 3-4 mph.

Then the 'clown' decided to climb onto bonnet. Next stage was when he decided to use his own personal hot water as he thought our windscreen needed washing. Now in case of heavy rain you need to slow down. Think he landed up suffering from some bum rash! Whistle

The only excuse I can find for that car being there is they moved over to leave L1 clear for anyone coming on via the slip road. And even that is me trying hard to be positive!

Likelihood is that they are a fully-paid-up member of the MLOC.

I hate the bloody MLOC. Twisted Evil

Could be a known stretch of motorway with 'tramlines' on the inner lane. The M4 is plagued by them.

Or they are a middle lane F Wit.

Its normal for Stirling bound vehicles to stay in the middle lane as the inside lane veers off to the left and onto the M876. During rush hour the inside lane is usually tailed back and crawling, perhaps the driver is a regular user of that stretch of road and conditioned to stay in the middle, or perhaps just a kn0b Mr. Green

Inside lane goes on to the M876 just over the brow, middle and outside lanes go north to Stirling and Perth.

Another MLOC hater Thumbs Up

Bit confused as right hand set of lanes has arrows pointing towards a reversed sign. There aren’t six lanes on two carriageways all heading in same direction are there? Maybe my old eyes Shocked

They are not arrows pointing away from the camera but instead they point towards the camera and have the road number under the arrow. From memory the two outside lanes are the M80 whilst the inside lane is the Denny road.

Few would pull into the inside lane at that point under 'normal' conditions as it is all to easy to get trapped by the mass of traffic continuing north in the middle and outside lanes - maybe the driver is in 'autopilot' and driving as per usual?

A recent purchase of a pair of axle stands erroneously got delivered to our old address (PayPal / Google Autofill SNAFU, since corrected). Though I'd spotted the error when the confirmation e-mail came through, the courier company was unable to stop the delivery in time.

The new occupants have kept them - despite the parcel clearly being addressed to me and the parcel including a packing note containing the details of the sender. After a 'reasonable period' of two weeks for them to make contact with the sender / with our solicitor / return the items, I'm seeing red and the words 'theft by appropriation' are coalescing before my eyes.

An iTunes voucher sent to that address as an 18th birthday present for my daughter didn't arrive (not sent via Royal Mail, so not re-directed) and has been used.

It's not the value of the items (or that I need them). Knowing I had something that didn't belong to me would keep me awake at night.

They are about to receive a letter from my solicitor.

Unfortunately for your supplier, not you, ISTR the unsolicited goods regs say anything like that is an unconditional gift for the recipient. They don’t have to return them, they don’t have to do anything. But that shouldn’t be your problem.

PS Any legal advice I give, whether with “ISTR” in it or no is deffo not to be relied upon. Whistle Whistle
