Sure it’s not the clock spring ?
More likely if no buttons work

sometimes the cruise works but you cant turn off have to press brake pedal, other times you can increase speed but cant reduce then you can reduce but not increase, then wont work going to work but will work coming home and as my iid tool is the base one that uses the cruise buttons it getting difficult to use and if you press repeatedly it just flips and no longer wants to play at all
done a bit of reading this afternoon and seems to be a switch problem rather than a clock spring hopefully,so im going to strip and clean over chrimbo see if that does any good please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick, thankyou

I had random situations when the cruise set button did not work, then it would etc.....In my case it turned out not to be the switches or clock spring at fault. It was poor connections in the wiring to the switches. Just unclipped and moved the airbag aside, and disconnected and reconnected the wiring connections a few times, put airbag back in position, tried it, and cruise then worked when selected, and has done ever since. Not saying that yours is this, but worth a try, and cost nothing. D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.
