Just a thought regarding the rear number plate - I've seen a few on the various testing thats going on abroad, and the shorter US and some EU style plates look better than the long UK ones.
Not perfect and still a silly ideaMark.

On the subject of the rear number plate, the one tested in the current Top Gear magazine has a black panel behind the plate stretching between the lights and I think that helps.Andy
