Incontrol lasts for the warranty period, then I think subscription applies if I remember from my DS experience.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Is mood lighting a UK only option? I don't remember seeing it on the US config tool.

Adrian no there is no subscription as others have said for the warranty period. However there are a number of apps/options that require a data sim to be installed in the car to get the full use, things like street view or the sat nav. Have ordered one thanks to Derrick and I hope it will be here tomorrow to try.
Off to Eastnor for a day off roading on Saturday so will get a fair run down the motorway so will report more after that. One thing that I have noticed is that it seems to be doing a fair bit more miles per gallon but that could be due to the lie-o-meter, will have to wait and see.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Re: Mood lighting & other posh bits.
I think Landrover have this right because there are so many options (albeit some too expensive!) on the D5 that everyone can construct a "vehicle" to suit their style or need.
I'm going for loads of tech stuff , but others might see them as a waste.Peter

Judging by most of Moo's comments he prefers the old tractor like discovery (given he has a 05 S ), which is what they used to be, they have moved on a whole heap now, and as with progress some folks will like it other will prefer the old vehicle.
I like it and have bought one, but i still have my old series to remind me what a true Land rover was at the very start...
