Spot lights on Expo Rack.
Hi,
I have just purchased a G4 Expo Rack from a forum member.
I want to do the following.
Fit led spot lamps to the front simular to ST4 Lazers E marked. These will be wired directly into the main beam circuit, my plan is to drill the ally part of the rack and insert rivnuts for the mountings then run the cable in via the boot and then up to the dash.
To lookalike this , but spots on the bottom and big light bar on the top rail.
I know that this will use a lot more wire but I think it will look a lot neater than coming down the front screen pillar.
Secondly is to mount a 50" LED light bar to the top rail of the rack front in the same way.
This will be wired to a independent switch and be independent of the headlights
And lastly to mount some rear facing worklamps , these also to be independently wired and not via the reverse lights.
Also intend to piggy back into the fuse box in the glove compartment for the live feeds so that I don't have to run wires through the bulkhead.
So the question is what size wire to use and also what size fuses.
Cheapest place to buy the wire at a decent price.
All will be wired with relays.
Intend to have 3 seperate cuircuits , I will wire both front set of light at the same time although I have yet to buy the 50" led bar.
Does the above sound workable.
Cheers.AndyAndy.

Put all my cables up behind the cover at side of drivers side windscreen then into the gutter rail then brought the cables out by the front mounting bracket and terminated them in a multiplug to facilitate rack removal. Bought all my bits from Vehicle wiring productsPot Noodle Challenge Winner 2011
