Just like last weekend in Northumberland. KnuckleFukers out in force disregarding the GLASS Voluntary restraint notices.
Their are also members of the public who could be described as "KnuckleFukers" I met one such individual on the 11th March in Northumberland. Despite avoiding a GLASS Voluntary Restraint 10 mins earlier, recovering a farmer (female) and her car from a ditch (declining payment also may I add) then wishing to proceed along a legal byway one of these KnuckleFukers stood in front of my vehicle in a hostile and threatening manner, and directed me not to drive a BOAT with no restrictions apart from the "gerr auf mi land". All caught on camera Club N.E.R.D.s

Ahh, it's a while since I've had one like that. The usual is the bobble hat wearer who militantly exercises his perfectly legal right to walk down the centre of the road at 1mph.
This usually happens in atrocious weather so guess who gets fed up first, the bobble hat wearer or me listening to my iPod in a nice warm, dry and comfortable D4 ticking over a constant 1 meter behind the bobble hat. MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price! - So good I bought another!
MY2012 D4 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - retired to a new home
I think we've all seen it at some stage Jon. Then you get comments like the one made earlier & despite multiple requests for further info so you can help to take the stress/strain out of the isssue & maybe plan an alternative route, pass on advice to others or even just keep a more wary eye out all you get is silence..............................Paul.

That's just so you can empathise with the bobble hatPaul.

So a cracking day on the lanes on Saturday.
Sadly the photos don't do it justice. Beautiful weather, temperature topped out at 20.
Some great lanes.
Took the D3 up and down Parkamoor
Grisdale.
Tilberthwaite and other lanes joining them together.
Gary (Snow White) and Angela tagged along with myself and two 90s. We got the usual abuse from the 90 guys...computer drivers; all you have to do is push buttons. Blah blah blah, but we definitely had the last laugh. The lead 90 was well modded and got up everything with power and speed (you can add some skill in there). The second 90 was stock other than steering guard and diff guard and AT tyres. Also his diff lock kept popping out and ended up needing to be tied in. Gary's expect advise got the defender through albeit with some new battle scars.
Gary sold himself as having done a few lanes and some experience. It soon became apparent that there was more then just a few lanes behind this man and after some digging it turns out that he drives a challenge truck and competes at a fairly high level.
These skills and clear directions were muchly appreciated when in some tight spots. Great to meet another forum member and a thoroughly decent chap.
Fair bit of bramble rash from the gorse bushes on the lanes and need to give the D3 a thorough clean which she deserves after an amazing weekend. Spent 10 hours driving on Saturday then blasted back down the motorway on Sunday to get home in time for Mothering Sunday dinner. D3 HSE TDV6 Auto. Bonatti Grey.

Thanks for the complement. I just enjoy helping people.
However what can't be argued is that a Disco 3 appears to has a better turning circle than a 90. And there is no electronic trickery involved in that ! RRS HSE 2012 Stage 1 remap, timed heater General Grabbers
Blue D3 with winter pack, xenon lights, Geoff's engine performance upgrade, egr's blanked, mega flushed gearbox, 3 new wishbones, RLD sump guard, V8 brakes front and rear, General Grabbers. Rock/tree sliders. Now gone
Defender 90 tray back, 3 winches (with one or two other subtle mods) Now for sale

The Old Coach Road was a nice drive with a few washed out bits when I did it in 2015. Looking at previous posts it seems much worse now!

Yes we were going to do the old coach road on the Sunday.
But after notes on here and a long drive home we decided to miss it.
There isn't anything logged with CCC yet as we did check all routes.D3 HSE TDV6 Auto. Bonatti Grey.
