How long are you there for? I'm heading for Tignes on Saturday to do a bit of snowboarding for a week could see about the local transport and have a trip over.

Home Saturday 18th. Snow is perfect after last weeks dumping. It's very warm, you won't need much gear. Best skiing high up and before lunch. It's getting soft near the resorts.
We are heading over to La Plagne tomorrow via the Vanoise Express cable car. Quite a feat of engineering it is!

Are you flying to Gatwick? you could be on the flight I arrive on lol.
The snow is looking good and I think Tignes is a bit higher than Les Arcs so hopefully not so much slush and I think bit more snow due while I am there and I haven't been to France before and looking forward to it.

Well jell! 20 odd years since we skied Les Arcs.
There used to be a 'flying mile' with a speed trap at the bottom coming down into Arc 1600 - I was clocked at 129.856 km/h which I was initially miffed at as I didn't break the 130 mark, but happy on conversion as it just nudged over 80 mph. Not bad for gravity and a couple of planks strapped to the feet.
