Gas bottles.
We have just been contacted by the place where we store the van and told under fire regs etc we have to remove the gas bottles from the van while it is in storage. Research reveals that CoSSOA the caravan storage registration body say as much in their handbook for site owners, under 2005 fire regs where reasonably practicable gas bottles should be removed. Our site isn't a memberr, the previous place we used were and never mentioned it. Wondered if anyone else had come across this?==================================

We had our van in CASSOA storage for a while, gas bottles were never mentioned.
I think the key is 'where reasonably practicable ' - you just have to say it isn't ...

Unfortunately inconvenience isn't a good enough justification, the onus falls on the site owner to justify allow them to stay.==================================
