Finally fitted Uncle Ray's magic ball. Sussed I need the 10-Inch Tablet X-Grip (RAM-HOL-UN9U), just wondered what length double socket arm people are using for mounting from the passenger seat base.
Any help appreciated.
Cheer, Paul.Paul.

Any pics of what you've got. I've got a box full of ram mount bits.
RLD 1 1/2" ball bolted to front of inner seat rail. iPad with Otterbox case so far.
Been a bit lax in getting this sorted. Still on hunt for shed key btw
I'm sure it's one of these i need, Del sent me some info a while back but I've mislaid it.

iPad holder at the end, i used it with my ipad 1 and the ipad 4 (with a bit of padding), will get the proper links for the middle bits after dinner that SWMBO's dishing out

No worries. As SWMBO sez, the RAM Mount kit was one of my more sensible purchases!

I am looking for alternative mounts for a 7" GPS or a tablet. The solution in this thread looks interesting. Where do I find Uncle Ray's magic ball? Tried to Google it and found nothing...or at least nothing that could be bolted to the car. Possibly I am also now blind...
