Hi, does anybody have any experience on the above cooler ? I know its not as good as the compressor coolers such as ARB,Engle and the Waeco coolfreeze range but then its less than half the price and I cannot afford the others. All I want is something to keep my milk bacon and suchlike cool for 6 or 7 days. Is it up to the job ? It will probably only be used in the UK so no very high outside temperatures Thumbs Up

Hi Mark,

I've got one - been impressed with it over the last couple of years or so. Would prefer an Engel but as you say very expensive.

For the money you can't really go wrong.

Thumbs Up

I have run a TC Version (prior to facelift) for five years or so, many weekends and weeks camping, had two at one point and the in laws have one too. In my mind the only decision is what Suzy to get!

I would Reply:

Hi Mark

I bought one for my Northern 500 trip last year, seemed like the best budget option and a good choice.

It doesn't seem to draw much power, cools well and is very quiet.

I built my unit with this in mind and it fits well and does the job, fresh milk and bacon sorted for the week!
