Ready to take the Plunge (D3 to D4)

Hi All,

All upgrade items now bought and delivered and all I need do, is to get the bumper to a body shop for re-spraying to java black.

But before I take the next step, I would appreciate suggestions regarding my two fold question please:

1. What would you advise? Paint my current D3 wings arches trims for use on the D4 wings or buy a colour coded wheel arches trim?

2. Should I paint the rear bumper to black or just leave it as it is? The rear bumper has same off colour like the wings trims.

Regards,

Mo

1. WTF are plastic wing trims?? Do you mean the wheel arches?

2. Only you can decide if it's worth painting, most people just buy the D4 rear bumper, it's a straight swap. Rolling Eyes

I meant the wheel arches.
Apologies for the wrong choice of words

Cheers

Have you tried Owatrol on the std arch trims/cill covers? comes up real good, whole lot less hassle, I realise its most likely not what you want but may be worth a try?

Thanks lynalldiscovery,

I'm up for all suggestions as I still have my options open for now.

Meanwhile, that Owatrol effect doesn't look bad on the shown trim! I may give it a go but do I just buy and brush over or does it have to be mixed with black paint?

Regards,

If it was me I would fit the correct parts for the D4 look, as in colour coded wheel arches and colour coded bumpers.

I like things looking standard!
