What part is this? Front steering assembly
Hi,
I had my car on a ramp last weekend at a brilliant self service place I have found and these link parts were all over the place (which probably explains my tracking issue). I shook the front wheels and there was definite side to side movement.
What exactly are these? Any tips on replacing appreciated.
Thanks!
Andy

You will need at least one hammer, an air or battery gun helps a lot with the ball joint nut.

Your better off buying the track rod ends and the rods to the steering as these go also.

Hey
Can I check something. I received today a full kit of inner and outer "Premium" tie rods by Meyle from AF. They didn't have TRW in stock.
Have I made a mistake and bought rubbish? Should I go to a dealership and buy LR parts?
What's my best option in Manchester tomorrow?
Thanks
Andy

I do not know the brand but it sounds like you have the right bits, tie rod ends and tie rods. Should have a gator for steering rack end.
Check google for the brand

Just googled it - they seem to be a good German brand who make OEM parts so should be okay

In my experience if Advanced Factors sell it they have already done their own checks and it is a quality product, hence them offering a two year guarantee on most of their items which is twice as long as Land Rover will offer.
