PDC module part number?

Hi,

I have a D4 bumper just been painted for me. It had PDC sensors and it seems that my best hope to get these working is with a LR PDC module, loom etc.

Looking on Fleabay there seem to be a number of part numbers associated with a D3/LR3/D4. Can anyone advise what I should buy? I'm keen to get the info regarding loom too. I have just a bumper with sensors as my starting point.

Thanks,

Andy

You will have to program the car to tell it you only have rear PDC.

I would remove the boot trim panel on the left side and see if you have 3 connectors (black & beige)

PDC wiring

Hello,

i tried to upgrade my Disoc 3 (2008) with Front-PDC. I put everything in. Pluged in the wire. We set the front and rear pdc to "on".
First test. Failt! Parking Aid inactive.
When we set to the rear pdc only, it is working fine!

So we checked the wire an discovered that der is NO wire pluged in to the PDC-BOX, which is hidden at the rearseats.

There is one wire coming from rear-pdc and a second from the mainwire. I guess there should also the free plug been used from front-pdc.

So one wire is missing, i guess!
Where i could find it?

Inside our German Forum I had no luck. Bad luck, no idea!

May be in this Forum I have Luck?

best regards

Klaus

You could get a plug and run 6 wires to the front.

PDC wiring

Thx, for the quick answer!

There is no original part, which i could order?

We already thought about your solution. Do you know the part number of the plug? I guess i need two one for parking aid modul and one to the entry somewhere under the Dashboard?

Does a wiringplan for this particular wire or the wiring from frontlights to parking aid modul exist?

regards
klaus

This is the loom that runs at the back of the bumper to each sensor also to the front fog lights
If you don't have fog lights it's a different code

If your car is right hand drive look behind the drives side head light I've got an empty socket ready for me to plug the front pdc loom in and the other i think is fog lights

PDC

OK.
We tried to Programm both. result PDC deactivated
When we set it on rear. Rear is working fine
Back to pdc both. again pdc deactivated.

Sensors front checked. OK
wire frontbumper checked. ok

Check Parking assitance modul. Wire to front-pdc including plug is missing.
There is no partnumber of the Wire? So that is may be could order it?!

Where end the wire from the pdc socket behind the headlight in directions to the Driver seat (right handed)? (There is already the wire from pdc sensors (frontbumper) pluged in.)

The wire with plug could not still exist between the Dashboard and parking assitance modul? somewhere hidden?

I will try to get the plug as pete mentioned. I will also try to get a used cable.
If we have the plug, where should this wire end on the otherside. I guess the plug from the frontlight (rightside) and the pdc-buttom at the Dashboard should end together somewhere?

I recall it mentioned that the front wires end by the glovebox / fusebox.

It's not worth trying to find them.

Just run 6 wires down the car.

thx, for the link! I will trie to order this wires!

I already found a part dealer in Germany who sold me the missing plugs.

I am still wondering, that the on this mainloom this particular wire is missing.

I thought, that if there is this socket for front pdc behind the headlight with the wire in direction to the glovedepartment. The rest of the wires should also be some where.

I had a quick look yesterday again to the pdc-module The mainloom is pretty Close to it. Is it possible that LR just didnt put this plug to the wire. I thought i could discover with the loom a single wire that just Ends there.

Hope you could follow me Wink
