Am i the only one

Am i the only one to struggle to jack up the bottom end of the now extended air strut so i can get a fixing in its lower end to secure it after doing the lower arms Big Cry
I have never heard this problem mentioned and so assume i did something wrong Censored
Locked the car in access hight and after the first hour of struggle i disconected the battery, made no difference.

Never done a land rover one but loads of truck ones and if theres even the slightest bit of air in the bag forget it you are on a losing streak so assume the cars the same?

Nope. They can be a PITA

Best solution is the "Deflate" option within the IIDTool, which dumps all the air from the front bags Thumbs Up

Ok, just never heard of the problem before, not in any guide or in Haynes manual. it was always the worst bit was getting the old fixings out.
Now when driving in a straight line the steering wheel angle has chainged from slightly left of centre to abit right of centre, i assume that is normal, obviously no change would be great.
Obviously car has had a moan with warning lights etc which i new could happen, and obviously needs full alighnment.

Thank for taking the time to reply. Would appreciate comments on the steering, being a safety item. Thumbs Up

Thanks,
Andi.

After changing the lower arms it needs a full alignment, even if you are very careful the new bolts will never sit exactly the same and the steering wheel being 'off' now is a good indicator Thumbs Up
