D3 to D4 parts compatability

Can anyone tell me if a dashboard endcap vent cover from a D3, will fit a D4, or are they a completely different ?

I wouldn't be too concerned using 2T in a D4. I'd be more concerned about the lack of miles causing DPF issues My D3 Build Thread

So would you advise using 2t or not ?

On another note, you will be seeing my D3 shortly, as my Son now has it. He works with a guy called Alistair from Scottish Gas who I believe you know quite well ?
