Hi,
sadly no where near you and was going to suggest one from Clas Ohlson as istr mine cost about £25
it seems they have gone up in price now £35
but I have used it more often than I expected, it makes polishing the car a lot easier and quicker, just a thought

I'm not sure he did Admiral.
With a rotary only polisher there's a much higher chance of damaging the paint.
With a random orbital ( not only going round and round but the centre of spin also shifts ) there's much less chance of causing damage to your paintwork.
That linked sander would have limited polishing capability but should work with care. Mods:

Hi,
no it is the correct link,
I think it is a newer version of the one I bought a few years back and it does say "Random"
have been using mine the last couple of days on another car I have just bought, Polished first then Waxed, just glad I have not been doing it by hand

My apologies guys, it did cross my mind that it could be used with a stick on pad but then I looked at the revs (13,000 rpm) and thought it was a tad fast for a polishing buff. My buff is 1200 rpm and weighs a ton, had it for over 30 years.
