Well that was fun ! NOT 
Lost most of my braking just now, going from .. oo that feels a bit soft, to yes, we can just about stop ..all in a matter of minutes.
Brake fluid thoroughly dripping down in front of the spare wheel well so I assume one of the pipes has corroded through !
Is this a DIY job? The car is now on the drive (55plate D3 with 250k on it), but I'm not that keen on driving it anywhere further and there is not a hope in getting a recovery truck anywhere near it (small Cornish streets).
I'm guessing copper pipe and an end-flaring tool are the order of the day? are existing pipes suitable to join on to? I've never made up my own pipes before but helped a friend do a set for his kit car.
Any thoughts / advice / parts links much appreciated!

Might be easier to call a LR dealer and see if there is a manufactured part. Would be quicker and easier than making a new one at the side of the road. When you are dead, you do not know you are dead. All of the pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you are stupid.

I'm not sure of the exact pipe you'll be looking at, but depending on access making up brake pipes isn't too bad of a job, sometimes a little trial and error on the flaring. don't over work the pipe when bending.
Check the end fittings you're going to need (male or female) size etc and get yourself some pipe, a flaring kit and the appropriate end fittings, and a bottle of fluid.
Don't forget when bleeding to start from the furthest wheel working your way back to the closest to the Master Cyl.

You'll be lucky to get a replacement 'moulded' pipe.. I bet LR will charge a fortune if they could get one.
Even then, fitting a more rigid pipe can have its difficulties, they will be designed to fit on the car when where not much else attached in the factory, I don't think many manufactures think about replacing the pipes. so would be hard to get into place. Disco4 MY16 SDV6 Landmark Black

If you can,don't let all the fluid run out, as getting air out of the ABS unit can be difficult. If you can prop the brake pedal down an inch or so it will stop it draining.

I had mine done at local Indy in February - basically they echoed what Browny90 says - getting a pre-formed pipe to fit is a nightmare without taking the body off - they made them up from copper and fitted them - took less than 2 hours - but assuming they did it on the ramp

Super input, thanks chaps. 
Whilst I've witnessed someone else doing the flaring etc with their own kit, is there a useful generic kit I should be buying for the job? also any specific spec/OD on the pipe?
Not done brake lines before

So I see the connectors are all M10 - I take it that is the same as ones on the car? or is that just to take a section of pipe out and re-couple it within the remaining ends of the original pipe.

Dont whatever you do buy the cheapo flaring tools they are just pants and thats being polite!
Not being rude but if you havent done pipes before and you buy the cheap tool you will never do them again, buy the decent one and you will wonder what all the fuss is about.
Any brake flaring tool that has the puller style shape as in the links in the previous posts are just plain hard work
The pipe you want is Kunifer and NOT copper, copper is illegal for brake pipes in some countries.

Ive got an old sykes one and its also good but needs a vice to use unlike the one I linked to which can do flares in situ, for what you need you dont want that feature but once you have the tool the possibilities are endless.

^^^^ Have to agree, forget the cheapo tools/kits, they only make 'average' flares on copper pipe. The issue you face is you will be joining your new copper sections to steel pipes and you may have to make a flare on the 'factory steel' pipe. The cheapo kits just will not hack it I'm afraid. I also have the fleabay 'on-the-car' tool which is much better IMO
