Don't be silly, have a tub of utterly butterly in the fridge.
Had a really good night last night with my old friend, my liver was saved by the quality of the VC being most kindly offered. NoDo$h, no head butting of the kneecap needed.
All set up.

So far 3 slips in my faultless (well in my mind) planning. I forgot my towel! But not a problem as there will be towels aplenty in Poland just a few miles away, at most cheap price.
I had half a dozen pouches of rice that I managed to forget. Curry with rice pudding doesn't really appeal. Will sort out an alternative tomorrow in Poland.
But worst of them all I naplamed my nans on a new burner that I'm just getting used to.

Yep, a most excellent jolly that was too. Too far south for me on this trip plus not very good position wise for the trip in July.
Just spent an hour trying to get my wifi widget working, about to throw in the towel and made one final change to the APN settings and hey presto, it worked.
Off to Kostryzn to pick up food and fuel, then have a nice bimble up the Oder (N) and back the German side. Got a few pins in the map to go and investigate, but once seen the delights of Tesco in Kostryzn. Unfortunately no Clubcard points!

Sitting on the Polish side of the Oder looking west. Bit windy, watching swans and ducks flying around. Deffo not going any further forward on this road!!

Got some of the stuff I was after in Tesco, though no towels, and came across the Polish equiv of our "foreign section".

Weather has been fine most of the day, unfortunately now tipping it down. Back on the campsite now, have feet up in my luxury (if not a bit nippy) boudoir.
And for those of you that are watching, tanks a lot!!

Greetings from a very wet & windy Peenemünde, made famous by that chap from The A-Team ending the threat from the V2s single handedly in WW2.
Museum to go in to get out the rain but stopped to take pic of tourist trap Juliette class old Rooooooooskie sub. Bet that was noisy when it chugged along!!
