Land Rover Warranty
Hi,
Moving up from my 07 D3 HSE @ 142k miles to a 66 D4 Landmark @ 9k miles.
Over the ownership of the D£ I have had a mix of LR, WD and no warranty......
The repair/failure work my D3 has seen includes the following:
Wheel Bearings - LR Warranty
Tow Bar issues - LR Warranty
Front passenger window failure - LR Warranty
EGRs - LR Warranty and WD Warranty
Front lower arms, ARBs, etc. - no warranty cover
Steering components - track rods and ends plus 4 wheel alignment - no warranty cover
Air Compressor failure - no warranty cover
Rear Brake Pipe corrosion (MOT fail) - no warranty cover
Battery failure - no warranty cover
Gearbox condenser - immobilising the car - no warranty cover
Radio/CD head unit - no warranty
Etc.
Are all the above items marked with 'no warranty cover' generally covered by the extended warranty cover?
My main concern is over the steering/suspension/electronics/system type failures and if they will be covered if I extend the LR warranty past year 3, rather than go with WD or other?
Many thanks
JC
