Those trim kits are adhesive "stickers" -- no car parts are actually changed. I'm personally not a fan of fake wood stickers.
It's fairly tedious to do, however. All surfaces need to be cleaned, primed.... then you individually remove the adhesive backing & carefully position and apply each piece. (Heat guns are often used on "curved" pieces to ease install.)
I think the Land Rover OEM 3-piece Wood Veneeer kit is a little better than the hundreds of stickers.
