Or if you don't fancy jetboil you could always try the alpkit equivalent jackel or wolf and they are a lot cheaper, know few members on here have them me included and at a decent price
Not as quick as a jetboil in my experience in cold weatherMY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Slight problem with lack of power. I haven't figured that one out yet.
Choice of wild camping with views like this or campsite and power hookup isn't a difficult one though.

Del I'd love to know a couple of spots like that where I could just escape with the dogs and an isolated beach for a few days total relaxation MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

I'd guess that might've a bit far away for a day trip. Looks like northern Scandinavia. Coastline ish.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Sorry for the hijack - but seeing as this is a semi camping thread I would ask the question anyway...
Bought one of these purely to blow up air beds - KAMPA MAINS 240V TO 12V ADAPTOR
Anyway went to blow up the kids paddling pool Saturday and it just wouldn't power the pump - just kind of splurted and did nothing.
Is this normal or am I trying to put through too much load?
Last of the D4 HSE...

Word of warning for anyone who ordered last week - hope yours wasn't delivered by Hermes and that your goods turned up!
Checked the tracking and it says that it was left securely in my porch at 10.33pm sunday night!!!
Righto, as it would have been a massive box and I don't have a porch!!!
Checked the CCTV and funnily enough - absolutely nothing - lying
Good luck, Fishboy. Hope it all works out for you.

Typical Hermes B x
Delivery was attempted on mine on Sunday. Yeh, right. It's a company address, closed on Sundays nothing on CCTV. Turned up yesterday. There are two rules for success,
1. Never tell everything you know.

Update:
Millets phoned yesterday following an investigation - driver is no longer in employment with Hermes so they are taking word that it wasn't delivered.
Guys hardly gonna get rich with a folding table and a couple of tent carpets
