No They Are Not I've been getting these for at least 5 years if not longer. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Thinking about it I can remember filling in the surveys on the D3 and D4's I've had. When asked about the tailgate there were boxes to tick that asked for your preference I always ticked single top hinged. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Why is it a ridiculous thread Winger? Isn't my question legitimate.
Have D3 or D4 owners received a questionnaire in the past asking them what suggestions the'd have to improve their cars? That was a question posted in the DISCO5 forum...

I would have thought that the dealer satisfaction surveys and the vehicle satisfaction surveys play a major role in how LR plan future sales. One can imagine a scenario where customers are generally happy with their cars but not at all happy with the dealers. The sum get even more completed now many dealers are also selling Jaguars from the same showroom and with the same staff. Imagine a situation where Jaguar sales were rising but LR dealer satisfaction was dropping like a stone! How do you work that one out when planning future business strategy?

Yes - for both D3s and both D4s. The survey is not about asking how you'd like the car improved.
However, for someone who has posted 74 times on the forum, and 73 of those are in this section, and every single one is negative in one way or another about the D5, the repetitive and tedious negativity comes as no surprise. You are, obviously, entitled to your view, but your persistence suggests you must be in politics!

That's great Winger. Thank you very much! So i can't share my honest opinion about the D5? Can't joke or be sarcastic? Only negative posts? Are you sure? Have i ever insulted someone? Been unpolite?
I must admit that the Disco 5 is a huge disappointment for me as you all know and i must also admit that i DO like to criticise it and boy, it does deserve to be criticised. But i tell you something, thanks to all the criticisms made by so many in here and elsewhere about the D5, LR might make a few changes for the better in the near future...so our "group pressure" will have been worthwhile.
I didn't join the DISCO5.CO.UK forum exactly to respect D5 owners. I joined the D3/D4. As a D4 owner, i thought i could express myself freely...but apparently it's not the case.

Based on your posting record it would appear that your sole reason for joining the Forum was to post negative comments in this D5 section. There is no evidence of any involvement or constructive input elsewhere; not even a joke.
You run the risk of appearing to be Bullova06's franco-anglo-brazilian cousin!
But, as I said, you are obviously entitled to your view, as this is a public forum, and I admire the confidence you have in your own influence over JLR.

I posted over on D5 forum as a genuine question to see if anyone else has had one, I've had retailer surveys but none on the product itself. No big deal I don't suppose they send them out to every single customer or it could be I've missed them in my inbox.
My thread seems to have been used as another conspiracy theory against the D5 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Winger,
Don't you worry, this will be my last post in this great forum. I don't even want to try to answer your misjudgements about me. I just happened to join the forum when the D5 was launched...
Thanks to all members with whom i've exchanged! I had great fun and learned a lot.
All the best,
Bello

Bought my D3 10 years ago new. A few months later got a phone call from LR from someone stating that they were my "personal contact". Ask how did I find the new car. Well he got an earfull as it just had had a new front diff fitted. Also told him of the problems with the pervious one. (Cooler pipe corroded) and just out of warranty by 3 months and the fight I had had with LR to get it fixed F O C as it had been serviced by the main dealer at the end of the warranty period. I got them to pay half of the bill.
The result was I got a pair of roof bars free from LR to "compensate" for my discomfort. Very much surprised and that was the last I ever heard from my "personal" contact. Wish he would phone now after 10 years of ownership and boy would his ears ring. Never been asked to complete a survey. I wonder why?
