Both lanes of the Eastbound carriage way at Temple have opened early. Apparently they are still on schedule for being fully open both directions on Friday!

I forgot about the night closures, and ended up having to go the Stew route on Sunday night.
And then got stuck in the roadworks again on Monday

I'm heading from Essex to Bude this weekend and in trying to decide if I should go M4/M5 or M3/A303/A30.
Looking on the traffic update links on here it seems there are loads of roadworks no matter what way I go.
Anyone got any suggestions for the best route?
Thanks
Pezzer

think its more about what time you go rather than which way....a30 at temple is complete ,but they are still working on a few overbridges so access on/off is not 100 percent..we use the old inn at st bewards to eat and cannot get on at temple coming home as bridge and junction not complete

Just dove up again from St Agnes today and clear run through works area at normal speeds at about 12.45pm onwards. Bigest problem was leaving from Chiverton Roundabout on A30 to Carland Cross R/B which is majority single carriageway. After that no problems!.
