we are sailing Portsmouth - La Harve on the outaward leg and Calais - Dover on the Return
we still have 4 nights not yet booked between St Giles - Croix - de - Vie and Calais,
we usually book these a couple of days before we need then and let the kids choose, ( i think they'd love to go to the D-Day Beaches)
so if you see us give us a wave.
Andy.

Stopped at Le Ferme twice, Its a nice Dutch Owned site with pleany of big pitches with a lake in the center - easy to get in and out of St Gilles - just along one main road
Closet Village is Coex, with a small supermarket and nice pattiserie (cake shop). Bigger Supermarket right on the last roundabout at the end of the main road into St Giles - bit of a mall type shopping as well as a Bar, so you could send 'er indoors shopping whilst you have a crafty one.
A lot of the nice harbour side resteraunts in St Giles have gone - fast food places now - a real shame

added some things to 1st post - you might just be too late for the Fete Du Lac at Lake Junay. Beaches along that bit of the coast are more rocky, but no charges for parking at most of them.

9th August the Disco, rooftent,wife and myself getting ferry to Roscoff from Plymouth,then a little jaunt through France down to Spain maybe Portugal (depending on time & weather in France) and then back again to the ferry at St Malo on the 24th. Then over to Jersey spend a day there and sail back to Poole on the 25th Then back up North The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

Book a table for lunch or dinner at the creperie at lac de Jaunay. We are out there in 3 weeks and will eat there for sure. We are at La Garaingoire and this is our 7th year running. Love the Vendee and also good for surfing
Restaurent is Kid friendly and they have a nice selection of ciders. Walk it all off by walking round the lake. I plan to carp fish the lake this year but not easy due to the number of cats, they Hoover up everything. James favourite hobby is writing in the third person.
