Cornering lights
Just tried to enable cornering lights via IIDtool but cornering lights won't come on.
There are 2 "cornering lights" sections in the menu and I enabled them both.
I had tried with only 1 enable but still no cornering lights.
Has anybody enabled them successfully?

There may not be bulbs or wiring in place.
If that was all there then they would already be working.Stew,

But the fog lights are installed and work when they are activated from the inside.
Do I need additional wires?

Can you see actual bulbs in place?
My MY10 HSE doesn't so they don't work either!Stew,

The cornering lights were a separate bulb in the main headlamp cluster, not in the foglamp like you find on 'lesser cars' .
There is a full write-up in the wiki about retrofitting cornering lights but it's not for the faint-hearted!"The quality remains long after the price has been forgotten."Henry Royce

coming back to this topic, I had a good look today and indeed there are no bulbs, only some chrome bulb thingy.
Would simply adding the bulbs on a 2010 D4 with xenon make them work or I still need the wiring?

I don't think it's a simple fix
I went from non-corner pre 2014 lights to post 2014 lights with cornering and can't get them to work no matter what options I turn on
Seems a shame having the fancy lights that don't work... but they don't do much anyway

I'm in the same position as Ross above, upgraded the lights with known working units containing conering lights but unable get them enabled.
I've considered wiring separate to the main vehicle wiring as an extra set of lights with main beam, but the fun option would be to fit a pair of flip-flop flashers in that aperture!

Hi disco4sui, if your details are correct you have the Swiss Spec HSE with Xenon headlights. So the cornering lights should be working. Just try installing new H8 lamps. I found if you go for the new fangled white light xenon lookalikes they only last a few months. The bog standard H8's I have in at the moment have been okay for the last six months.

Hi there Ronch,
Yes, I have a 2010 Swiss spec HSE with xenon lights.
Inside the cornering light there seem to be a chromed dummy bulb. I have enabled cornering lights via IIDTOOL but they don't come up, now I know they aren't actual bulbs.
So with my setup the wiring is already in place? I plug in new H8 and they should work? Or I will have to add some plugs?

My HSE Lux has Xenons but no cornering lights - I had the dummy bulb too
Definitely wont work on the post 2014 lights that have cornering lights in the units (can see the LEDs within the space) even after turning on every possible option in IID 2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320
