Hi, I've just put a deposit down on this at Land Rover Taunton for view/test drive/purchase, thought it was quite a good buy as it's from main dealer, it's got couple things missing that I'm hopefully going to haggle to get reduced cost, (prob not chance but got to try) let me no your thoughts on the spec/price and any advice for haggling will be very welcome,

Looks like a nice specimen. White isn't my thing, but don't let that put you off.
I might be wrong here, but once you put a deposit down, that's the deal agreed, isn't it?

Hi Pedros. when he mentioned the deposit he said it's returnable if for any reason I'm not happy with the car, It was just to hold the car,
Hi galwaygreen, is LRE ( Land Rover engineer/employee) or something to that effect.

land rover experience....ie been offroad since it was new and most of its miles would have been offroad

Ok thanks, will defenatly run that by them, if that's the case do they have to declare that or is there no obligation to mention that to new customer.

you just would like to know its not an LRE car...if they declare its not and you find out later it is...I would suggest they are deep doo daa..............as said the two at Honiton lre were DE 16 plates..last time I was there...I gather they have gone now cus of D5

LR Experience D4's were OE plates not DE.
LR Experience D4's were either HSE Luxury or HSE and not SE Tech so this one wasn't an LRE vehicle.

So is SE tech basic model,, I'm going to ask if can be added and how much,, tow-pack/sidesteps/reverse camera, as it's a used car they probably won't add anything but if don't ask you don't no.

Interesting thanks, it is missing a few extras I'd like, auto seats, sidesteps,reverse camera, headrest entertainment, but I surpose 90% off it can be added,

For comparison, Taggert's of Motherwell have a very nice 2014 HSE with only 22,000 miles for £34,000. The HSE has auto seats with a higher grade leather and this one has rear entertainment as well. Don't be afraid to shop around and play one dealer off against another, there are plenty of vehicles out there.
