2012 xs 8 speed or 2011 6 speed hse?
Gutted, ready to buy a disco 4 and just missed 2 2012 hse 8 speeds for under 17k
Still a few 2012 xs 8 speeds but really want the hse, though my kids want a RSE model lol.
Also coming from an audi with folding/dimming mirrors, heated memory seats, etc the HSE will be a closer match to my current equipment and wants.

If you really need an HSE then there will be others along soon I'm sure, but you would probably get a far better car mechanically/age/mileage for the same money as an XS. The only thing I would want is electric seats but it just wasn't worth the extra money for me.
Definitely go for an 8 speed, it should hold its value better and is a better drive.Joined the BMWX5 45e group

If you get electric seat without memory it would be a pain to re-adjust
go for 8 speed box last letter of the badge mean as in case of mine with after upgrades doen in factory and by me sits between SE and HSE and now I wish I left more out (what can go wrong later )

They must have had massive miles on for under 17k. Cars with 125k are 22k, nominal mileage cars are 26.5k17 Golf GT TDI Tornado Red

nope 120-130k miles for £16500, but i'm more of the opinion now to get a 2011 with more options than a 2012 standard hse.
Only little things like cooler, adaptive xenon's etc, but it all adds up, and i can go for a lot lower mileage car
