Dog wise is now only transport costs. Aus is part of pet passport scheme now. No quarantine if you have a pet passport, just like taking to continent! Very Happy â€œThere are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games”

caverD3 - that is the absolutely fantastic news - our pup has special feeding requirements which makes putting her in kennels very difficult indeed - hence she has a full pet passport and vacinnations to go everywhere in Europe with us. You've made my day!!! Thumbs Up Mr. Green

Thanks for all the other feedback as well Thumbs Up - now it's a case of getting my lot on the job to organise some dates and start the ball rolling in earnest. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

You will need to give five months warning and they still want thirty days in quarantine.
It used to be six months. There is a quarantine place in Perth though.
I had assumed it was the same both ways. (Australia to UK -no quarantine)

If it was SWMBO I'd agree... And no I'm not quatifying that statement Whistle LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I was posted to Sydney on a <3 year assignment, it turned out to only be 1 year Big Cry

It's a great country, especially if you like the outdoor life, sport etc.

Just don't become a 'winging pom' and the Oz's will make you very welcome. Discovery 3 XS Auto, Stornaway, Active rear diff.
