Scotland 

Cigar plug will allow about 25w Tx power before it says 'no'. IIRC it's rated to about 15A. Don't waste time trying to get 100w from it. Wink

Thanks guys

In the defender I have direct feed from batteries with inline fuse - so to play safe I will use the extra hella plug connected to aux battery in D3.
Will also save me from forfeits when my radio is down when ignition is switched off. Embarassed
